I almost forgot one of the most exciting Strasbourg discoveries. Lynn and Gerald took us to see a very special discovery of a fresco depicting scenes from Psalm 1. It was painted in the 1580s and the doctor who lived in the house had it painted on the walls of his library. It was first discovered in the late 18oos and has now been rediscovered again by an art historian. Gerald is being consulted on the religious symbolism/imagery. It was very neat to be in that little room and figure out the story of the different panels and to experience Gerald and Lynn's excitement.

Afterwards I took this picture of the doctor's library window and saw the cathedral reflected in it. I thought of David Kopulos and his reflection photos.
